The project for the new market and multi-used building in Santa Coloma de Gramanet creates a dialogue with the rough topography of the surrounding giving room to an inner promenade which, linked with the area, turns the space of the proposal into a new public space for the city.

| Pich-Aguiler Arquitectes在这样高密度的环境下设计了一个多用途建筑，试图对城市中破碎的功能进行统一的整合。基于这一理由，每一种功能都被视作地面层，并与杂乱地形中不同区域连接。
Pich-Aguiler Arquitectes designs a multi-used building in a very dense environment area, trying to give an overall solution to a series of usually scattered funcions throughout the city. For this reason, each plant is thought as a ground floor, linked to different parts of the topography.

| 建筑位于一个高密度的城市区域，道路系统条件差，几乎不存在开放空间。为了争取日照，老市场被拆除，面对废弃的建筑物，建筑师希望可以以更加集约的方式来重新利用场地。
The building is situated in a dense urban area, with a poor road network and practically nonexist and open space. As to obtain the solar, the old market was demolished, this being an obsolete structure, with the aim of re-using the place in a more intensive way.

| 新建筑“Fondo”具有多功能的属性，它应对了高密度城市中的多种需求；城市中通常分离的功能被连接至地面层，并集中于统一的建筑体量中。
The new building "Fondo" is a polyfunctional endowment which pretends to respond to the needs and requirements of the dense city, while concentrating in one only volume, diverse functions that are normally scattered throughout the city and linked to the ground floor.

| 建筑试图复制若干“零层”，布置在建筑的竖向空间每一层级，同时每一“零层”与周围起伏的地形相连接，作为城市人流的激活剂。
The architecture aims to multiply the "zero level", generating in each level the qualities of a new floor in vertical development, linking it to the hilly topography of the neighbourhood, acting as activator of the urban flow.

| 建筑内部缩短了不同层与最近街道的高度，通过内部多形式的空间与用途的结合，使得内部的流线可以作为部分公共空间使用，建筑可以变身为装置，广场和街道。
The interior project retracts the different existent levels between the streets of its immediate environment, allowing, throughout the various connections between uses and spaces, an internal route which can be used as part of the public space, converting the building into equipment, square and street.

| 功能上，建筑主要为周围的移民人群服务。步行层的首层是市场的所在地，在步行层的一层和小街的首层，是一处超市。沿着一个巨大的陡坡，就像一个展开的街道，可以到达图书馆和托儿所，图书馆和托儿所的花园就在超市的屋顶上。整个建筑设计中整合了生物气候系统来减少对空调的需求。
Functionally, the building provides equipment to a neighbourhood with a mainly immigrant population. The ground floor at the level of the promenade is home to the market. On the ground 1 from the promenade and ground floor from the back street, is located the supermarket.
A large ramp, like a deployed street, gives access to the library and the nursery which has its garden on the roof of the supermarket. The entire building has been designed to integrate bioclimatic systems to reduce air conditioning demands.
