该项目为幼儿园重建项目，位于日本东京附近的相模原市，设计单位是Naf和Design建筑事务所。该场地内的原有幼儿园建造于1979年，经过多次扩建和改造，仍解决不了建筑老化问题，因此，需要一座新的幼儿园来解决市区内幼儿上学问题。

Architecture studio Naf Architect & Design was commissioned to reconstruct a former kindergarten in the Tsukui district of the city of Sagamihara, a city located near the capital of Tokyo. The original school had undergone several expansions and renovations since its construction in 1979, but was still in poor condition with signs of aging. It was decided to build a new building to replace the city's kindergarten, with a low population density.



该项目场地占地面积为2330.880㎡，建筑基底面积为640㎡，由两个建筑体块组成。幼儿园的主要使用功能为儿童教育中心，但其规划定位是能容纳2000人的城市会议中心和表演中心。由于近几年相模原市的人口出生率持续下降，所以政府将周边区域的人口规划到了该市，解决人口问题。所以，该幼儿园容纳了来自不同区域的学生，并且配有不同的巴士路线，以满足交通需要，也使得该项目能够满足重建的条件。

The project will consist of two buildings with a total surface area of 640 m² on a plot of 2,330.880 m². Although the main use is an education center for children, being located in a city that is experiencing a continuous decline in birth rates, it had to serve as a meeting center and celebration center for the city and have a capacity for 20,000 people. In this way, families from other places in the district come to the city. The school accommodates students from a fairly large area, there are different bus routes that the project had to be able to support.





Tsukuigaoka幼儿园建造的特点在于其不同的建筑空间赋予不同的意义，并通过在不同时间段内开展组织不同的活动类型展现出来。场地的前院区域功能为车辆通行和停车，厨房运货车、垃圾清运车、办公人员车辆以及后勤人员车辆均在此区域停车。新建幼儿园屋顶与原有幼儿园屋顶保持一致，是向上倾斜曲面与坡屋面的结合，曲面屋顶也成为了当地的地标。幼儿园内的“花园”其实是一个硬质铺装场地，全年开放，用于校内举行各种大型活动。

"Tsukuigaoka Kindergarten" designed by Naf Architect & Design is a building that over time has managed, through its activity, to make the different spaces that build it gain in meaning. The area that has earned the name "front yard" is the area dedicated to the passage of vehicles and bus parking, which has also been used in different events to house kitchen cars, tables and chairs for events or even a car. garbage for social studies. The curved roof has become a landmark, which also refers to the shape of the old school roofs. "Garden" is the patio where events are held and where children can go out to play throughout the year.

This patio is accessed through a corridor between the two buildings that divide the public and class spaces, in this way it does not affect celebrating celebrations with teaching classes, or teaching music classes, where instruments such as the drum and flute are played. , which can disturb classes of other subjects. Even so, the classroom building is a dynamic space where sliding doors appear that allow the space to be expanded.



在该幼儿园内还设计了四个保育室，是为了延续原有幼儿园的保育功能，面积与原有保育室相同。保育室的门采用推拉门，门前方是一个“扩展空间”，不需要大的活动面积时关闭推拉门，需要大的活动面积时打开推拉门扩展保育面积，以满足保育中心的标准面积要求。

In the classroom building, four nursery rooms almost the same size as the old building were designed to allow the same activities to be inherited. And beside the nursery rooms is an “expansion space” like a wide corridor. When the sliding doors of the nursery rooms are fully opened, the floor area can be enlarged by integrating with the expansion space, which would satisfy the standard area of the certified childcare center.



保育室推拉门关闭后，扩展空间可以作为过厅使用，具有多功能性。因室内有供幼儿游戏的阁楼，所以天花板设计得很高，在室内还设计有展示学生作品的展墙。整个室内空间相对灵活，可容纳举办各种活动。因顶部为坡屋面，为了室内最高处高度合理，屋面坡度较缓，坡度为1/4。

When the sliding doors of nursery rooms are closed, the expansion space becomes a small hall-like area. The ceiling was set high to incorporate lofts where children could play, and a wide wall was set up so that various works by children could be exhibited. Even if the hall building is rented out, the classroom building is flexible enough to hold an event of a certain scale. To keep the maximum height low, the roof slope is slightly loose, which is 25/100.



该建筑外表皮饰面分两段设计，腰部以下是幼儿可接触区域，容易脏，所以采用涂漆的木质扣板，脏了以后可以重新上漆，腰部以上采用雪松板。内墙饰面也是分两段设计，腰部以下采用的是lauan胶合板饰面，外刷油漆，腰部以上是织物饰面扣板。

The materiality of the project on the outside is covered with cedar panels and the finish is changed according to the height of the wall, below the waist, it is finished with horizontal painted wood cladding to allow for repainting, since it is the area that most gets dirty, and above the waist of vertical wainscoting. The interior walls employ the same principle, below the waist is a lauan plywood finish + paint, and above the waist is a fabric finish.
