Fentress Bradbnrn adds to its landmark design for the Denver International Airport with this significant concept hotel. The DIA Westin Hotel‘s semicircular glazed facade encompasses the north end of the passenger terminal and spans the elevated walkway that carries passengers to Concourse A. Its intriguing views include arriving and departing aircrafl and the vast expanse of the Colorado prairie and mountain landscapes beyond. The hotel‘s glazed exterior belies its mass as it dissolves into the undulating shapes of the passenger terminal roof.
The hotel‘s location is carefully selected for maximum convenience to the terminal. Situated on axis to the terminal and airfield， it provides maximum ease and comfort for travelers delayed by layovers or inclement weather.
The completed design contains 544 rooms and is planned as a full-service hotel with restaurants， shops， convention and banqueting facilities， entertainment and an executive business center.
