Paolo Venturella, in collaboration with Cosimo Scotucci, preserves the industrial heritage of Denmark’s second largest city in their proposal for the ‘Aarhus school of architecture’. The concept’s main volume ‘jumps’ over a brick warehouse in an original approach to preservation. The lower level includes common facilities such as workshops, exhibition area, shops, and kitchen. Upstairs, are meeting rooms, administrative offices, and storage facilities.
